Removable Drive Prep
Section titled “Removable Drive Prep”For maximum security, place the downloaded product file on a removable drive and run it from there. This improves isolation and reduces the chance of conflicts or detections with other software on your system.
Don’t have a USB drive? A virtual drive works just as well. ImDisk Toolkit (free) creates a RAM-backed virtual drive that appears in File Explorer like a USB stick and wipes itself on every reboot. See the Virtual USB Drive guide for setup instructions.
After use: Always eject the drive when you are finished. Right-click it in File Explorer and select Eject — or simply reboot, which wipes a RAM disk automatically.
Pre-Run Steps
Section titled “Pre-Run Steps”- Ensure your system meets the minimum requirements listed above.
- Disable Windows Defender “Real-time protection” and any other antivirus software temporarily during setup to prevent interference.
- Download dControl from here and extract it to your desktop.
- Run
dControl.exeand click “Disable Windows Defender” to disable Windows Defender and allow our products to function properly. You can re-enable it after use if desired.
After downloading a .HTA file from store.mudcrab.co/dashboard, you need to right-click the file, select “Properties”, and click “Unblock” to allow it to run on your system.
