Overview

How to buy, sign in, and start using your MudCrab Labs software.

MudCrab Labs builds premium game software. This guide covers how to buy, sign in, and get up and running. The flow is the same regardless of which product you picked up: everything you own is delivered by a single launcher.

  1. Purchase a license at store.mudcrab.co. Pay through Stripe (card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Klarna, Cash App, ACH bank transfer, and more, depending on your country) or with cryptocurrency. Stripe orders add a 10% processing fee; crypto orders do not.
  2. After the payment confirms, we email a temporary password to the address you used at checkout. Card and wallet payments confirm instantly; crypto and bank transfers (ACH) take longer to clear, so delivery waits until the payment settles.
  3. Sign in to the dashboard with that email + temporary password.
  4. The dashboard prompts you to choose your own password on first sign-in. Pick a real one and continue.
  5. Your product is now on your account. Download the launcher from the dashboard to use it.

If you were sent a license key instead of buying directly (for example, a gift), go to /redeem, enter the key + your email, and it will either add the product to your existing account or create a new one for you.

The launcher is a single file. Getting it is one click; locking it to your PC happens automatically the first time you sign in from it.

  1. Sign in at store.mudcrab.co/dashboard.
  2. Click Download launcher on the dashboard (or visit /get-launcher directly). The file starts downloading right away. It has a random 8-character name (for example a1b2c3d4.exe); that is expected, and yours will differ from everyone else’s.
  3. Right-click the file, choose Properties, tick Unblock, click Apply. Windows blocks freshly downloaded programs until you do this.
  4. Run the launcher and sign in with the same email and password you use for the store.

On that first sign-in the launcher locks itself to the current PC. Every subsequent sign-in checks that the same PC is running the launcher. An account is locked to one PC; a second PC trying to sign in gets a Hardware mismatch error. If you legitimately need to move (dead hardware, new PC), unlocking goes through support.

Once signed in, the dashboard is where you live. Here is every section, top to bottom:

  • Header: your chosen display name (edit it with the pencil), your member number, your join date, and the count of products on the account.
  • Subscriptions: one card per product you own. Each card shows the plan you bought, the time remaining (or Lifetime if it never expires), and the exact end date. Time-limited plans have a Freeze button that pauses the countdown, and a matching Resume on frozen cards; frozen time is preserved, not lost. Lifetime and already-expired plans cannot be frozen. Every card also has its own Download button that pulls a fresh launcher for you.
  • Downloads and Resources: the launcher itself, plus a link to this setup guide. The launcher is a single file, freshly built for your account every time you click Download.
  • Redeem a Key: paste a license key here to add its product to your account. Each key is single-use.
  • Discord: link your Discord account to get the customer role and support in your own private thread. Linking is optional; nothing on the store requires it. A Join our Discord button lives here too.
  • Active Sessions: every browser signed in to your account. Revoke a session to sign that device out immediately. Changing your password revokes them all at once. Launcher sign-ins do not show up here; the launcher is bound to your PC, not to a browser session.
  • Security: change your password. A confirmation email is sent whenever the password changes.

Subscriptions do not auto-renew and we never store your payment details for recurring charges. When a term ends, access simply stops until you buy a new term.

If you lose access to your dashboard (for example, the temporary password email never arrived or your inbox is gone), contact support with your purchase receipt or your order number and we’ll get you back in.

If the launcher removed itself from disk (after a tamper, expiry, integrity, or wrong-machine error), just re-download from the dashboard. Every download is freshly built for your account, so a clean retry is always one click away. See Error Codes for what each error category means.
